The 2 & 5 year old decided to make a “Pumpkin” video for Dot Marie Jones It  made my heart melt! I hope she likes it!

I was singing along w/ @MsAmberRiley and @JennaUshkowitz in the car (Dog Days) and my 5 year old gave the first compliment EVER! Usually she throws a fit when others sing along to her glee songs, but when I finished she said “Oh MY, mommy, can you do that again? You should be in it.” (In the most dramatic way possible because she is a natural drama queen.) Normally I have a hard time accepting complements, but hearing her say that actually brought a tears to my eyes and warmed my heart! She doesn’t give complements very often. As a 5 year old, she lacks the filter and she usually says the first thing that comes to mind. No, I am definitely not as good as Amber or Jenna, but it felt good to get a compliment from my own daughter. It really made my day! :)

So which of my followers likes Halloween? I LOVE Halloween and look forward to it every year. You are NEVER too old to dress up! It has always been a time for me to put my creativity and acting skills to use and I go all out. In the past I have actually had multiple costuemes each year for various events. I have this thing where I do not like to dress up as the same thing twice (which is why we will NOT be going as the incredibles since we went as them to a costume party a couple of months ago) Though I admit that I am thinking about dressing up as a toilet again for next years costume contest. Most of the time I create my costumes from scratch. No, I am not talking about finding a pre made pattern and sewing it together. I enjoy being original. Like many actors, I want to show off my interpretation of the character that I am dressing as! I am very passionate about my costumes and I plan to instill this in my kids. I have no problem with them going Trick or Treating so long as they use their minds and create their own costumes according to their imagination! There you have it. My take on Halloween!

.@LoveIsLouder than Hate! Share love with others and let’s show those haters how loud our love can be! This article is spot on! We need to keep the negativity away from ALL of our children. NOT just those who may or may not be gay. The only way to fix the hate is to teach love and acceptance for EVERYONE early on! I want my children to love and embrace who they are. How can we expect that for our children if there are people out there degrading others for doing that same exact thing?

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone that has ever done or said something mean, nasty, and/or spiteful to me. While I do not enjoy being treated like crap, every hardship that I have endured has made me a stronger and better person in the end. At some point your actions may have temporarily blinded me and hurt my self esteem, but when I really look back at your actions, it has actually built my self esteem. Rather than stooping down to your level, I chose to act out of love rather than hate, and that makes me a better person. Don’t get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to act in retaliation, but I am too proud of myself for continuing to love through your hate. Again, Thank You for being the hateful inconsiderate, uncaring, person that you are. It is people like you that really make it such an honor and a blessing to have people who are truly caring and loving in this world, including myself.

Please do not think that because I do not retaliate against you that your actions will not go unnoticed. You can disguise it, but you can not hide ugly for long. God sees through our masks and people eventually see it too. It is not I who determines your fate. That is in God’s hands. In life we will eventually reap what we sow. While I am very grateful for the good person that you helped me become through your hate, I fear for what lies ahead for you. I really hope that one day love finds you and that you realize that living your life with love is SO MUCH BETTER than living your life with hate and greed.
